Bit O'Background

Shannon M. O’Regan (pr. Oh-Ree-gun) is a photographic artist, writer, museum junkie, and overall soulful human who hails from Chicago and currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida. O’Regan received her B.S. in photography from the University of Central Florida in 2022. She is a 2019 grant recipient from the American Association of University Women for her portrait series Substantive Beauty. She is also a 2017 Merit Award Recipient from the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery at Florida Southwestern State College. O’Regan’s work has been exhibited at the Southeast Museum of Photography.
